A full refund will be considered up until teams have been formed. After team formations have been completed, a pro-rated refund (less association prepaid fees) will be considered if a doctor determines that illness or injury prevents the athlete from continuing to play for the remainder of the season. In this case, a doctor's note must be provided. Any refund is subject to Board approval.
After meeting with all Club Presidents from the Winnipeg box zones and surrounding area, the Winnipeg Box Lacrosse Commission (WBLC) has determined not to proceed with the formation of club and competitive teams for any age division. For the 2025 box lacrosse season, teams will be formed similar to years past involving coaches and/or the board. The goal is to make evenly matched teams in each age division.
For the 2025 season, friend requests will be accepted, similar to years past, but with a slight modification. Each player participant will be permitted one friend request, and it must be mutual. For example, player "A" may submit a friend request to be on the same team as player "E", but then player "E" may only submit a friend request to be on the same team as player "A"- a mutual agreement. Friend requests will be accepted on the first two nights of the 4x4 camp; details will be posted at the arena.
As of February 2025, Shamrocks' teams are not permitted to host a raffle, or any other gaming related activity as a means to generate funds for their team. The Shamrocks Lacrosse organization (the board) may host a licensed raffle to raise funds for the organization to help offset costs for equipment, camps, training, etc. and reserves the exclusive right to do so. Teams wanting to host any kind of fundraiser must obtain approval from Shamrocks Lacrosse (the board).
